NARRATIVE REPORT

1. If you have a local race track, contact some trainers and ask them if they have any “two-year-olds” for sale. When you find one “for sale” get the pedigree, construct a catalog sheet, and determine what the horse might have sold for as a yearling. If possible, contact the breeder and ask the breeder the price he received for the horse.

2. Contact some local show horse trainers and ask if they have any two-year-olds for sale. By pedigree, what do you think the horse’s price might have been as a yearling?
